Terms of use

The basics of using this site and attending our events.

Last updated: February 2026

1. Who we are

This website is operated by The Family Fork of Washington, a Washington State nonprofit organization located at 656 SE Bayshore Dr Ste 1, Oak Harbor, WA 98277 (“we,” “us,” or “the organization”). By accessing this site, buying a ticket, donating, sponsoring, or registering to volunteer, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.

2. Using this site

You agree to provide accurate information and to use our forms, checkout, and accounts only for their intended purpose. You may not attempt to disrupt the site, access accounts or data that are not yours, scrape or resell our content, submit false registrations, or use the site for any unlawful purpose.

3. Tickets and event admission

A ticket is a revocable license to attend the specific event date and session shown on the order. Each ticket includes a unique QR code that is scanned once at the door; duplicated, altered, or resold-above-face-value tickets may be refused.

Some events carry age requirements (for example, 21+ tastings). Valid government-issued photo ID is required where an age minimum applies. We may refuse entry to, or remove, any guest who is disruptive, intoxicated, or unsafe, without a refund.

All sales are final. See our refund policy for transfers and cancellations.

4. Donations and sponsorships

Donations are voluntary charitable gifts and are non-refundable. Sponsorship benefits — including logo placement and event recognition — are provided as described on the sponsorship page and are subject to the sponsorship term purchased. We reserve the right to decline or discontinue any sponsorship that conflicts with our mission, and to review sponsor logos and links before they are published.

5. Volunteers

Volunteer registration is subject to the release and waiver presented during signup. Volunteers under 18 require a parent or guardian signature. Volunteer placement is at our discretion, and shifts may change based on event needs.

6. Payments

Payments are processed by our third-party payment providers. We do not receive or store your full card details. You are responsible for the accuracy of the payment and contact information you submit, including the email address where your tickets and receipts are delivered.

7. Content and photography

Text, images, logos, and materials on this site belong to The Family Fork of Washington or its partners and may not be reused without written permission. Our events are photographed and recorded; by attending, you consent to appearing in photos or video that we may use to promote the organization. Contact us if you would like an image of you removed.

8. Changes to events and this site

Event dates, schedules, menus, and venues may change. We will notify ticket holders by email when a change affects their order. We may also update these terms; the “last updated” date above reflects the current version, and continued use of the site means you accept the revised terms.

9. Disclaimer and limitation of liability

This site and our events are provided on an “as is” basis. To the fullest extent permitted by Washington law, The Family Fork of Washington and its board, staff, and volunteers are not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from your use of the site or attendance at an event. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law. Food is served at our events; guests with allergies or dietary restrictions are responsible for asking about ingredients before eating.

10. Governing law and contact

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Washington, and any dispute will be handled in the state or federal courts serving Island County, Washington. Questions? Email thefamilyforkofwashington@gmail.com.
