Who we are

The Family Fork of Washington is a Washington State nonprofit organization located at 656 SE Bayshore Dr Ste 1, Oak Harbor, WA 98277. This policy explains what we collect through this website and how we use it.

What we collect

• Ticket orders: name, email, phone (if provided), order details, and the guest names on the order.
• Donations and sponsorships: name, email, business details, logo files, amount, and any dedication or message you write.
• Volunteer registrations: name, contact details, address, emergency contact, availability, shirt size, waiver signature, and, for minors, parent or guardian information.
• Contact forms: name, email, and your message.
• Basic technical data: standard server logs used to keep the site secure and working.

Payment card details are entered directly with our payment processor. We never see or store full card numbers.

How we use it

We use your information to deliver tickets and QR codes, check guests in at events, acknowledge donations and issue receipts, coordinate volunteer shifts and safety contacts, publish sponsor recognition you have agreed to, answer your questions, and keep required nonprofit records. We may email you about an event you registered for or a change that affects your order.

Who we share it with

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. We share it only with service providers that help us operate — our payment processor, email delivery service, and website hosting and database provider — and only as needed to run the organization. We may also disclose information when required by law.

How long we keep it

Order, donation, and volunteer records are kept as long as needed for our accounting, tax, and safety obligations. Contact messages are kept until resolved and periodically cleared. You can ask us to delete records sooner where we are not legally required to keep them.

Your choices

You may ask us to access, correct, or delete your information, stop a recurring gift, opt out of non-essential email, or remove your photo from our gallery. Email thefamilyforkofwashington@gmail.com and we will respond within 30 days.

Children

This site is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information online. Volunteers under 18 are registered by a parent or guardian.

Security and updates

We use encrypted connections and access controls so that only authorized staff can view order, donor, and volunteer records. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to protect your information and will update this policy as our practices change.
